Segunda Mano | Official Trailer | MMFF 2011

Kris Aquino, the Queen of all Media, the Queen of Talk, the Queen of almost everything is back in the movie scene with Segunda Mano, one of the  official entries in the MMFF (Metro Manila Film Festival) 2011.

Segunda Mano is a horror-suspense film produced by Star Cinema, Agostodos Pictures and Cinemedia starring Kris Aquino, Angelica Panganiban and Dingdong Dantes. Directed by BB. Joyce Bernal.

Kris is not new to this genre in fact it's becoming her favorite. After all the most successful films in her career are of this genre: Feng Shui in 2004 and Sukob in 2006. Both films became the Top Grossing Films for the year it was released. Another one won't hurt.


As for Angelica Panganiban, she also had several horror films as well e.g. White Lady, Matakot  ka sa Karma and just recently the Horror-Comedy Bulong. I'd say Angelica has proven she's a versatile actress from one TV series to the next. I'm pretty sure even in this movie she'd be able to deliver.


For Dingdong Dantes, he's able to handle a supporting role pretty well. Not much expectation though.


Talking about the director, I'm not sure if BB. Bernal can deliver the best horror film you'd expect to see knowing BB. Bernal's films were mostly comedy and love story. Hopefully she can pull it off and not make the movie "D Another Movie", if you know what I mean.
